Sara Mauleón Carbayo

Producer, Creator, Director | Shyncrica | Spain

Graduated in Audiovisual Communication at the University of the Basque Country, in 2019, Sara complemented her studies with the Master in Entrepreneurship and Business Management MBAe3. In 2013 she participated in the 61st edition of San Sebastian International Film Festival as a young jury, where she discovered her passion for film and communication. In 2014, she co-founded Shyncrica (audiovisual production company and advertising agency), where she produces commercials for companies and brands. In 2015 she produced the web series “about://thenew”, selected at different festivals. In 2016 she directed the documentary “Entre dos mundos”, selected in Cine Invisible Bilbao. In 2020 “Begirada” premiered, a collective film of 10 fragments made by young filmmakers where Sara directed “Muga”. In addition, Sara is part of the board of (H)emen, an association that seeks to raise the visibility of professional women in the audiovisual and performing arts sector in her territory.
